Hi Moms! We have an unused adult no expiration non hopper adult 5 day ticket bought years ago for family member who could not make trip. Can my six yr old use this ticket? And upgrade to park hopper? Have room only reserv at AOA in March. Thank you!

Hi, Christine!  You can use an adult ticket for a child, as long as the ticket has never been used before.  Because it is an adult ticket, you will be required to present a finger for biometric scanning, and this may cause a bit of confusion at the turnstile!  We just returned from a vacation where my youngest daughter, who is seven, used a never before used adult ticket.  When we went to our first theme park, the cast member asked me to use my finger to scan her in.  When we went to the next theme park, they asked her to scan her finger in, and it had not occurred to me to tell them that I was already scanned in on her ticket.  Just let them know when you arrive to your second park which finger was used to scan your child in.  It might save you some time!

You can upgrade the ticket to a park hopper.  Again, if it's a non-expiring ticket that has never been used, you can just go to the guest services location at the park and upgrade to a park hopper.  This has to be done either with a pass that has never been used, or within 14 days of the first use of a pass.

I hope you have an awesome time in March!  I love the new Art of Animation resort, and hope you enjoy your stay!
