    Denise from Berkshire Asked

Unfortunately I recently broke my heal, but still coming on vacation in July. I have hired a wheel chair as I wont be able to stand for long or walk far. Is there a list of rides I will/will not be able to go on?

    Hi Denise!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so sorry to hear about your accident but SO excited you will be still taking your trip to Walt Disney World. Last year, I broke my foot a week before a Disney trip. Like you, I arranged for a wheelchair, and it worked perfectly. As a matter of fact, it was one of the best times I have ever had with my family on a Disney vacation.

I have good news for you! As long as you can transfer (and it sounds like you can) from the wheelchair to the seat of the ride, there will be no limitations on which Rides and Attractions you will be able to enjoy. Many rides have a separate entrance for wheelchair Guests so be sure to check with the Cast Member standing out front and she will help you with the logistics of getting on and off. It will not be a problem.

Please let us know if we can do anything else to help you. July will be here before you know it--have a magical time!
