Unexpectedly going to Disney for my grandson's Baseball tournament at ESPN Wide World of Sports at New Years. Need help. I know nothing about Disney World. How to do this on a budget and still have a grand time.

    Hey Lisa!

From your question I assume your grandson is playing in the Disney New Year's Baseball Classic. He must be so excited. He will be playing at the same complex where NFL and MLB stars play and train in the off-season.

There are several ways to plan a *MAGICAL* Disney Sports vacation on a budget. Here are some of my favorites:

    • The official Travel Provider for this tournament is Anthony Travel. To book a discounted room use the link above and select the 'Planning' Tab. From there you will expand the 'Host Hotel' menu and click on the link to Anthony Travel. This will take you directly to the booking page. Under the 'Discounted Accommodations' section you can select 'Book Now' for the resort of your choice.
    • Ditch the rental car! By staying at host hotel such as Disney's All-Star Sports Resort or Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort you will not need a rental car as there is free direct Disney Bus Transportation to the Complex.
    • Take advantage of Disney's Magical Express if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. It's a free bus service between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and your Walt Disney World resort. Again, alleviating the need for a rental car.
    • When purchasing theme park ticket you can also check out Anthony Travel. Their deals on theme parks tickets can't be beat. However, make sure you place your order by November 9, 2015 so you can take advantage of Walt Disney World's free FastPass+ service.

I hope this helps with your planning. Make sure to stop back by if you have any other questions.

Wishing you a *MAGICAL* Disney Sports vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
