I understand why not all the DD restaurants are not yet added to the 2013 dining plan since not Disney owned); but why aren't all the Epcot restaurants updated on the 2013 dining plan; aren't they owned by Disney?

Not necessarily. You might be surprised to learn that many of the great restaurants on Disney property are not actually owned by Disney. In Epcot, for example, restaurants like Bistro de Paris, Les Chefs de France, Tutto Italia, Via Napoli, Marrakesh, San Angel Inn, La Hacienda, Nine Dragons, and Teppan Edo are all non-Disney owned. They certainly uphold the Disney standard for quality, but their ownership, and therefore their allergen concerns, vary from location to location.

Not to worry, though. When the DDP is finalized (likely in mid-December), you're almost sure to see all your favorite locations included on the list!
