I understand Main Street USA is open an hour before the Magic Kingdom opens. Is Guest Services open an hour early as well? We will need to get a Disability Pass for our son and would love to be able to do that before park opening! Thank you!

    Hi Karen,

One of my very favorite things about a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is that moment when I first step foot onto Main Street U.S.A. With a mix of memories, gratitude, and anticipation, I seriously get choked up every time. There's just something so special about being at the most magical place on earth!

I'm happy to let you know that if Cast Members are allowing Guests onto Main Street U.S.A., then yes, Guest Relations should be open inside Magic Kingdom Park. You'll want to head there to discuss the concerns that you have about your son's visit, and a Cast Member will set him up with the Disability Access Service if that's what would best meet his needs. However, I did want to let you know that they don't always allow Guests onto Main Street U.S.A. an hour before the park opens. I just visited last month and they had us all wait outside the tunnels that go under the Walt Disney World Railroad until 15 minutes before the theme park opened. Magic Kingdom Park was scheduled to open at 8:00 a.m. that morning instead of 9:00 a.m., but just know that park hours and entrance times are subject to change. We, too, have a son who needs the Disability Access Service, so once they allowed us to enter, we headed straight to Guest Relations. We were still able to catch the end of Let the Magic Begin before starting our magical day at Magic Kingdom Park!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karen, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
