I understand there is a gentleman - performing the Seperewa: The harp of royalty and African tradition - in Animal Kingdom - where can I locate him in the park?

    Hi Nancy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of my favorite parts of visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom is leisurely strolling around and taking in all the beautiful music that the park has to offer!

Last summer at Disney's Animal Kingdom, they introduced the Harambe Wildlife Parti. I unexpectedly stumbled upon this on a recent trip and it was such a fun time! There is music, dancing and street performers that represent a variety of cultures from Africa! Here you will meet Kora Tinga Tinga, who serenades Guests while playing the kora. From my novice perspective, I believe a kora and seperewa are very similar instruments so I believe this may be what you had heard about! Online you can find the full schedule for the Harambe Wildlife Parti will be available. You will find the Harambe Wildlife Parti in the Africa area of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

If this is not what you were looking for please come back and let us know. I hope you have a magical trip!
