I understand that the fastpass system is NOT used during the Christmas party. However, last year I was able to use my MVMCP TICKET to obtain fastpasses between 4:00-6:00PM before the party started. Has this policy changed for 2017 MVMCP?

Hello Bridget! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There is no better way to get into the festive spirit than by visiting Magic Kingdom for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Much like Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Guests are typically granted access earlier than the 7pm start time for the Special Event.

When my family experienced Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last month, we arrived just before 5pm and were granted access to Magic Kingdom through a queue set up specifically for the event. While there is not an official early entry time for Special Events, Guests looking to enter Magic Kingdom are able to book FastPass+ Selections for attractions and entertainment before 7pm as part of regularly scheduled Theme Park operations.

Just be sure to inquire at the Main Ticket Gates about gaining access using only your Special Event Tickets and enter through the queue for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party to ensure that you do not redeem regular Theme Park Admission on your scanned MagicBands.

Have a Very Merry Christmas Celebration!
