Hello! As I understand it, everyone in my group can use Memory Maker, even if the group splits up, just by showing the Magic Band. However, how do you link this? Does everyone need my Memory Card ID number and put that into My Disney Experience? Thanks!

Hi Megan! MagicBands have made a day in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks so much easier for me – no more shuffling through a lanyard to find PhotoPass cards and tickets! Everything I need, from Memory Maker to FastPass+ selections, is stored online right in My Disney Experience, which we have access to via our linked MagicBands.

To make sure your family members are able to access the Memory Maker entitlement, you need to link every Guest and their park tickets and/or MagicBand to your Family & Friends list in your My Disney Experience account, checking the option to allow sharing of photos for all people. This way, if any family member stops by a PhotoPass location or enjoys an attraction that features on-ride photography or video, their picture or video will magically be added to the Memory Maker in your My Disney Experience account. If everyone in your party does not have a MagicBand, they can have the PhotoPass photographer scan their park ticket, which should be linked to your My Disney Experience account or just use one of the PhotoPass cards given by the photographer. You can later add the PhotoPass cards to your Memory Maker account on the Disney PhotoPass website, where you can see all of the fantastic pictures and videos from your trip.

I hope you have a magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort, and please let me know if you have any further questions!
