I understand that Disney is changing the opening time for the Cruise Terminal from 10 am until 11 am. What happens is I arrive before that. Also what if I arrive before my port arrival time.

    Hi, Louise!

You definitely will want to time your arrival at the Port Canaveral cruise terminal for just a few minutes before it opens.  Usually, the general rule is that if you are of the first boarding guests in the terminal that morning, you have a better chance of getting an earlier boarding group.  That's a huge plus if you want to be of the first guests on the ship.

For Online Check-In at DisneyCruise.com, the port arrival times are assigned in an effort to stagger guests being processed through the terminal -- especially for the Disney Dream since it accommodates more guests. My recommendation is to proceed to check in as soon as you arrive at the terminal. I hope that helps you plan.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
