I understand that annual passholders do not qualify for any free dining promotions. If I purchase a package with the minimal number of ticket days require, are these allowed to be saved, to be used after our annual passes expire? With DME how is that done

Hi, Melissa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing this question to us. You are correct that Annual Passholders are not able to use a Free Disney Dining Special Offer unless they do purchase the required theme park tickets. The required ticket purchase does seem to change often, so be sure to check this out when the Special Offer is released.

There is good news for your plan, as those tickets can indeed be saved for future use. If you are planning to not renew your Annual Pass next year, then having these tickets on hand can be a great way to get a jump start on planning and budgeting for your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

When you book the Free Dining Special Offer, each component of the package will appear in its designated section within your My Disney Experience account. All of the package tickets will be listed right along with your Annual Passes. Once your trip is over, those tickets will still be hanging out in your account. I have one tip for you with this, Melissa. You may want to stop by your resort's Concierge desk, Guest Relations, or a theme park ticket window and ask a Cast Member to prioritize the Annual Passes for each Guest in your account. This will ensure that the Annual Passes will be used as you enter a park, instead of the regular tickets.

I hope this helps you plan for lots of trips where the magic is endless! If you have any other questions for us, feel free to stop by again.
