    Stephanie from PA Asked

My Uncle is retired Military that lives in FL and wants to buy a 1-day or more pass for himself and 4-day passes for us. We are visiting from out of state will we still be able to use our passes that he bought in FL for us when we visit the park with him?

    Hi Stephanie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

From my military family to yours, please give your uncle a hug and thank him for his service.  We are truly appreciative.

Since you do not live in Florida, you would be better off having your uncle purchase Military Promotional Tickets for you and your family.  Florida ID is required for all adults wanting to purchase and use Florida Resident tickets, so you wouldn't qualify for those, but he can share his allotment of military tickets with friends and family so that will be the way to go.

Please let your uncle know that he can purchase the Military Promotional Tickets at any ticket window, at Shades of Green or possibly at the International Tickets and Travel (also known as ITT) office on his local military base.  He would save a little money at Shades of Green or ITT because they will not charge him sales tax at either of those locations.

If he ends up with Exchange Passes from ITT, turn those passes over and enter the numbers on the back into My Disney Experience to get those FastPass+ selections made prior to arrival! You can do the same with tickets purchased at Shades of Green or at a Walt Disney World Resort ticket window.

Stephanie, please come back and see us with your vacation planning questions!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
