We were unable to get 7 Dwarves Mine Train fastpasses to MK. So we'd like to be among 1st in line at Rope Drop. Staying at Hilton Lake Buena Vista & their first shuttle runs 1 hr before park open. Will that get us there soon enough? Suggestions?

Hi, Natalie!  Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is one of my favorite attractions at Magic Kingdom Park.  I love to sing "Heigh-Ho" with the Dwarfs while traveling through their mine, and the views of Fantasyland from this attraction are nothing short of magical.  Because this attraction is so much fun, the standby wait time does tend to get a bit lengthy, even early in the day.  I definitely think you have the right idea with trying to experience Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at rope drop.

If I am trying to be among the first guests at an attraction at rope drop, I like to be at the park gates at least 30 minutes prior to park opening, if not earlier.  Often, Cast Members will let guests start entering the Main Street, U.S.A. area of Magic Kingdom Park before the park is actually open.  When this happens, guests begin to congregate near the Cinderella Castle hub, waiting to make their way back to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.  For this reason, you are going to want to arrive as early as possible.  You will want to be on the first shuttle out of your hotel, or you may even want to opt for using Uber or Lyft to get you over to Magic Kingdom Park a bit earlier.

The good news is that even if you have a bit of a wait to experience Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it's easy to pass the time.  This attraction has a great interactive queue, or you can access Play Disney Parks through your My Disney Experience mobile app.  I know you'll find your magical trip through the mine to be worth the wait.

    See ya real soon!
