    TY for answer on last quest. Just saw Epcot opens EMH @8; if bus runs ~1hr b4, take bus to Epcot ~7, then monorail to CR for 7:15 CM resv? If a few mins late, do we lose resv and have to pay fee? Hate to pay for taxi if we don't have to! <3 y'all!

    Howdy, once again, Christy!!  I love how you are tracing each step and looking for the best options to get to Chef Mickey's!!

    I'm still really concerned about you making it to your reservation on time.  However, I commend you on your wish to use the fabulous and free Disney transportation!!

    Prior to the day of your reservation, I would recommend that you do as you suggested in your initial question and check with the lobby concierge at your resort.  Ask the Cast Member for input regarding the best and most efficient way to get to Chef Mickey's and confirm when the monorail will be running.  I'm so nervous that you will not make it to your reservation on time. 

    I spoke with a Cast Member to find out what happens if you are late to your reservation.  Typically, they will hold your reservation up to 20 minutes.  If you arrive after that, the Cast Members at the restaurants will do what they can to work you in but there are no guarantees.  For restaurants requiring a credit card guarantee, the cancellation policy will apply and will result in charges if you cancel with insufficient notice or are not able to make it to your reservation. 

    I am so excited for you!  With each passing day you are closer and closer to your Walt Disney World vacation!!!!!
