two young married couples coming to DW in Oct 09. What resort would you recommend? BC or WL? we're there for 10 nights so being close to specific parks wont matter too much... BC we were thinking since it's close to BW for night time? Thanks so much!

A stay at the Beach Club would be perfect for two young married couples for exactly the reason you mentioned, among others.  The Boardwalk resort area bustles with activity come nighttime.  My husband and I spend our last Walt Disney World date night at the Boardwalk.  We enjoyed a fun evening at Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar.  There is far more to do than just that though.  The whole area really comes to life and I imagine that you and your friends would fit right in.  The pleasant walk back to the Beach Club will be a much appreciated convenience at the close of your evenings.  Of course, the equally short walk to Epcot (and all the dining opportunities within) is also something to consider.

While the Wilderness Lodge is also a beautiful resort, I think you'd be wise to follow your instincts on this one and opt for a stay at the Beach Club.  Have fun!
