Two years ago we arrive at wdw on a sunday late afternoon. i had booked a 6:00diner with princesses at epcot and we didn't have to use one of our 4 day pass "days" to get in. is this still possible??? wonderful way to kick off trip!!

    Hi Shannon!

I have actually never heard of not having to use a park ticket to dine inside one of the parks.  That sure is a great way to start off any Disney World vacation!  The Princess character dining restaurant, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, at Epcot is in the Germany Pavillion,  A park ticket is required to dine here or at any other Disney World restaurant that is located inside Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios.  The policy must have changed over the past few years.

There are a few character dining locations that are outside of a park and do not require admission to enjoy.  Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort is one of my favorites.  There is also 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian and Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club.

    Have a magical day!
