I have two teenage boys and this will be our 5th trip coming up in 3 weeks!!! My question is this time we would like to do some things that we have never done before (only just done parks before). What about the Boardwalk? Disney Quest? Espn?

    Hi Dedra!

With two teenagers, I recommend doing the water parks if you've never done them before. Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are spectacular and I've never met anybody who has been who did not like it. That includes my Dad who was very against going to Typhoon Lagoon before I dragged him there a couple of years ago. My favorite is Typhoon Lagoon, but I think most teenagers would prefer Blizzard Beach.

I do enjoy visiting DisneyQuest every couple of years. However, I really enjoy the old classic video games from the 1980s, so I'm not sure how that clouds my judgment. They do have a lot of newer things there, but unfortunately, the technology used in the newer games and attractions aren't as new as they were when they were first installed. That really comes across in the graphics. That said, Pirates of the Caribbean is an awesome video game that the whole family can do together! It's definitely a "must see".  After DisneyQuest, you can wander around Downtown Disney.

The Boardwalk area is nice for an hour or two. I don't know if I would recommend just going there with two teenagers unless you were also going there for dinner. There are a lot of restaurants around Crescent Lake, the body of water that the Boardwalk touches. My favorites are Beaches and Cream, an old fashion ice cream parlor, and the Cape May Cafe.  Both are in the Beach Club and about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Boardwalk. At the Boardwalk itself, I really enjoy Flying Fish. Of course, you could also visit the Boardwalk area easily on some night that you are in Epcot. Just go out the International Gateway entrance between the United Kingdom and France pavilions and walk about 10 minutes.

Finally, I'll add that my almost 12 years old's favorite thing to do at Walt Disney World is renting a boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake.

    Have a magical vacation!
