Two questions to address- First my son will be 7 months when we go. What are must do's with him? Also it's my mother's 60th birthday while we are there. Where should we take her for dinner? We will be there Sep. 30 - Oct. 4th. Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Katelyn!

I am so excited to help you prepare for your family's big trip to Walt Disney World Resort! We took our youngest Mouseketeer on his first trip to meet Mickey last year when he was 8 months old and he had a fantastic trip! You will be able to take your son on all of the attractions with no minimum height requirement, which are listed in this Disney Parks Blog post. We loved taking our little guy on all of our family favorites such as "it's a small world" and Dumbo the Flying Elephant! Be sure to get a picture of him with Dumbo after the ride as well! A definite "must-do" for everyone's first trip to Walt Disney World Resort is to meet the main Mouse himself, so I recommend getting a FastPass+ reservation to Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. After that, you can stop at The Chapeu on Main St., U.S.A. for a customized Mickey ear hat for your little man that he can wear for a picture in front of Cinderella Castle. That picture will be the perfect way to remember your family's special trip!

I think the perfect place to celebrate your mother's special birthday is California Grill. With its magnificent food and beautiful views of Magic Kingdom and Seven Seas Lagoon, it will certainly be a dinner to remember. Plus, you can end your mom's special night by watching fireworks from the restaurant's outdoor balconies!

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
