Can you have two people sharing a room on different dining plans? If so how to you set that up? Thanks.

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for posting your question about Disney Dining Plans to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family has utilized the Disney Dining Plan many times over the years and we always appreciate the flexibility and convenience it has provided us during our vacations at Walt Disney World Resort. We love to look, over the course of our trip, for the most delectable treat we can purchase with a snack credit from our Disney Dining Plan. There are so many amazing options.

There is a nice variety of Disney Dining Plans from which you may choose. However, Guests who share a room at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel must choose the same plan or none at all. It is not possible, for instance, for one Guest to select the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan while his or her roommate opts for the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan.

One way to work around this requirement is to reserve connecting or adjoining rooms. If a party of two sharing a room opts instead to reserve two connecting rooms, then the person in the first room may have a different Disney Dining Plan than the individual in the second room.

If you have any questions about which Disney Dining Plan might work best for your travel party, please don't hesitate to ask. My friends and I love to talk about dining at Walt Disney World Resort.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
