My two little princesses and I will be visiting the Magic Kingdom in two months! I would like to take them to lunch at Beast's castle. Do I have to make a reservation for lunch? Also, where can I learn more about the character dining experiences?

    Hi Ashley!

Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat at the Walt Disney World Resort!  The food amazing, and being able to eat inside the Beast's enchanted castle is absolutely magical.  I am sure that you and your two princesses will have a wonderful lunch there!

The last time my mom and I were at Magic Kingdom Park, we did not have an advanced dining reservation, but passed by Be Our Guest Restaurant early in the morning.  They were handing out cards to make reservations for lunch, so we made a reservation that morning and came back for lunch.  That being said, we went during a slower time, so there was not as much of a crowd as there usually is.

If dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant is on your must-do list, it would be a good idea to make an advanced dining reservation.  It isn't required, but because the restaurant is so popular, there is often not room for guests without reservations.  If there is not currently a reservation available, keep checking back since many people cancel their reservations closer to their vacations!  If you are unable to dine at Be Our Guest Restaurant, there are still plenty of other amazing dining options close by!

Character Dining is a great way to meet some of your favorite Disney Characters while enjoying a scrumptious meal.  There are so many different experiences that I'm sure there is something that your whole family will enjoy!  Each Character Dining Experience is different, so be sure to check out all of them!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
