We have two families traveling together, staying at the same resort, how do we make sure we are at least staying in the same building?

    Hi Russell!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Helping you plan your October Disney vacation is what we love!

For families that want to have connecting resort rooms or rooms in the same building at their Disney resort, just need to call the Disney Resort Reservation number at 1-407-939-1936. Let the Cast Member know what you would like (i.e., connecting rooms or room in the same building), and they will place a note on your reservation. Be sure to have all of the resort reservation numbers with you when you call.

When we've traveled with family, I call more than once ( a few months before our travel date and then about a week before) just to make sure that our request for connecting rooms was documented in the reservation system.

Once you arrive at Walt Disney World, you can also stop by Resort Concierge in the lobby of your resort to complete your check-in and room requests. You can also purchase additional theme park tickets, arrange for childcare, and ask transportation questions.

Russell, Cast Members will do their best to work their magic to fulfill your request.

Have the most magical time ever with your family. Remember, we're here to help. So if you have more questions, please stop by and visit with us again!

    Wishing you magic and memories,
    Korliss
