We have two children with autism spectrum disorder. Is it possible to have both of them have DAS assigned to their Magic Bands, so the adults could split waiting and riding with them, as they have different interests? Or can only one be active per group?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alisha!

Walt Disney World Resort strives to accommodate the needs of all their Guests, including those that may require additional assistance to make their vacations even more magical. To afford all visiting Guests an enjoyable, comfortable and inclusive visit, Disney provides the Disability Access Service Card (DAS).

The DAS is issued to Guests with a wide variety of special needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder. I recommend stopping by Guest Relations to secure DAS for your family.

I checked with Disability Access Services twice, before answering your question, and both times I received confirmation of the following information. If you have more than one DAS-eligible Guest in the travel party, you can obtain individual DAS cards for each one. In other words, both of your children can receive separate DAS cards, which may be assigned to their respective My Disney Experience accounts.

For an in-depth explanation, please read the Disney Parks Disability Access Service Card Fact Sheet. Also, keep in mind you can use the DAS in conjunction with FastPass+ and Rider Switch service too.

Do be sure to check the very useful guide of Attraction Details for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities - Walt Disney World® Resort too!

Please visit us again soon with more Disney vacation planning questions, Alisha!

Wishing your family, a most memorable visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
