I have twins (boy and girl) who are turning 18 on our trip. I want to plan a something fun. Any ideas?

    Welcome, Lynn!

Congratulations on your son's and daughter's upcoming birthday! I have a new 18-year-old at my house, too, so I know what a landmark birthday that is. Becoming an official adult is a big deal, and there's no better place to celebrate it than Walt Disney World Resort.

There are many ways you could celebrate this momentous occasion, but I'll suggest a few things I know 18-year-olds enjoy. For instance, how about a fantastic formal dinner at Victoria & Albert's? I ate there once with my Disney Parks Moms Panel friends, and I will never forget the magnificent multi-course dinner I experienced there. The formality of the restaurant certainly suits the significance of your children's big birthday.

Imagine how much fun it would be to share exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences with your children like Disney's Keys to the Kingdom or the World Showcase: DestiNations Discovered tours of Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, respectively. The high school seniors I travel with during our annual school trip appreciate the chance to see the details behind the magic at these two iconic Disney theme parks.

My 18-year-old students also love parasailing above Bay Lake and the Wilderness Back Trail Adventure Segway experience. Both are exciting and fun opportunities for young adults.

Wishing your children the happiest of birthdays,
