TU for the answer. My daughter celebrates her 13th bday on the cruise. We've ordered the cake. I read that they have started taking information regarding preferences for cakes. Do you know if this is accurate?

    Hi Jawanda!
You are so welcome and thanks for writing back!  I'm also looking forward to celebrating my next birthday at sea and can't think of a better place to be then on a Disney Cruise!  There are two options for a sweet treat for your princess on her special day!  The first is the Celebration Cake which may be what you have already ordered.  Prices vary and so do the cake type, icing and filling.  The cake order form includes all the varieties and the completed order should be faxed to (407) 938-4288 seven day prior to your sail date.  You have a choice on whether to have the cake delivered to your stateroom or dining table.
The other choice for your daughter is a special dessert prepared especially with her in mind.  Since I love chocolate,  my birthday treat would be some type of chocolate decadence!  Your dining servers will make sure to find out the birthday girl's preferences before bringing the dessert. This is a dessert for one, and there is no extra charge like the Celebration Cake.  If you haven't done so already, be sure to note your daughter's birthday on your cruise reservation by calling (800) 951-3532.
I hope my answer helps make your daughter's 13th extra magical!  Don't forget to stop by Guest Services to pick up a special Birthday Pin for her to wear and have as a keepsake for years to come!
Thanks again for visiting the Moms Panel!
    Have a wonderful day!
