Hi! I am trying to understand the fastpass system. I know there are a dozen attractions that have them -can we collect all our desired passes at the same time in the am for use throughout the day? Also, can I collect for my family while they are in line

    Greetings Angela!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am glad you are planning ahead and researching ways to avoid long lines at the Disneyland Resort Parks!
Here's how you use the FASTPASS Service:
    1. You look for the FASTPASS Distribution sign near the entrance of an attraction (currently, there are 15 attractions that offer FASTPASS at both the Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Parks and one more will be added when Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! opens on May 27 at California Adventure).
    2. Once you've located the FASTPASS Distribution sign, check the return time displayed on the sign. If the return time works, insert a valid Disneyland Resort admission ticket for every member in your party, into the FASTPASS machine. Note: Everyone in your party using the FASTPASS Return entrance must present a FASTPASS ticket when returning.
    3. When its' time to return, enjoy the attraction with minimal wait!
Now here's the catch, a FASTPASS service machine will not issue another ticket until the time stated on your current ticket. In other words, the earlier you get your first FASTPASS, the sooner you'll be able to request the next one.
Keep in mind that the Disneyland Mobile App is a great tool that features Park maps and allows you to check on attraction wait times...make sure you download it before you visit!
Have fun at the Happiest Place on Earth!
