I am trying to set up my fast pass attractions. There are several rides that are not available anymore but say there might be a standby option. What does "standby option" mean? Is there a sign up for the standby option?

    Hi John!
Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

It is amazing how fast certain attractions fill up when using the FastPass+ system. I guess it all depends on the time of year you are heading to Walt Disney World and how crowded the theme parks are going to be that determines how quickly times may get "taken" for certain attractions. That said, "Standby" simply means the regular queue, or line.
When you enter a certain attraction, there are two (2) queues...one is for FastPass Return and the second is for Standby, which is the regular line. Wait times should be posted to help you decide if you are willing to wait at that moment or to try and return later on for a lower (hopefully) wait time. You do NOT sign up for the Standby queue.

I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!!
