I am trying to make reservations with my dining plan why do I have to enter a credit card?

    Hello Tammi!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week!

To make a dining reservation at Disneyland Resort, they ask for your credit card because in the event you cannot make your reservation or reschedule, you will be charge $10 per person for the reservation. They do not charge you unless you don’t show up. I tend to make reservations and then when on-site, if we change our minds, simply go to the restaurant or call to cancel or change as soon as I know we won’t be able to attend. If all goes well and you are able to attend at your allowed reservation time, your card on file will not be charged anything and you can pay however you wish at the restaurant.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions as you are planning your visit.

    See you real soon!
