I am trying to plan a vacation package online and I was wondering if getting the dining plan is a good idea. If so, which one, quick or table. The price difference seems to be pretty high and ive seen comments where some people say the food is tasteless??

    Hi Dilia,

I really like the regular dining plan that allows you to have 1 Table Service and 1 Quick Service meal, along with snacks, for each night of you spend at a WDW Resort.  Although you can save a bit of money when you use the dining plan, it's really more of a convenience.  It's so nice not to have to worry about the prices when you sit down to dine on vacation.  Everything has already been budgeted and paid for, and you can really just enjoy a great meal.

Yes, there are wonderful restaurants at Walt Disney World, in both the quick service and table service categories.  I have some recommendations.

Quick Service: Flame Tree Barbecue, Pecos Bill's, Sunshine Seasons
Table Service: 50s Prime Time Cafe, Biergarten, Kona Cafe
Signature Dining (takes 2 table service credits): Jiko, California Grill, Hollywood Brown Derby

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
