I am trying to plan my vacation, and figuring out dining options. Are all dining options in the parks? I want to stay at the All star movie resort so I am trying to figure out how the dining works.

Welcome, Alicia! Dining is one of my family's favorite parts of our Walt Disney World vacations! From Counter Service locations to Food Trucks, and Character Dining to Fine Dining, there is something for everyone's taste and everyone's budget.

There are a ton of restaurants outside of the parks. In fact, some of my favorites are at the resorts themselves. We recently discovered the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast with four of my kids' favorite characters: Rapunzel and Flynn Rider, along with Ariel and Prince Eric. This is such a fun breakfast experience at Trattoria al Forno restaurant at Disney's Boardwalk Inn. I cannot wait to take the kids to this again!

You don't need to be a resort guest to dine at any of the resort restaurants, so feel free to make reservations at a different resort than where you'll be staying and simply take Disney's convenient transportation there from one of the parks. If you'd like to sort the dining options, it's easy to do on the Walt Disney World website. Simply click on Dining, then in the drop down menu on the top left, choose Dining Experience to select which type of dining you prefer. Additionally, if you'd like to view all dining at one particular park or one particular resort, click on the very top left where it says All Parks and Resorts. If you drop down that menu, you can narrow it down by selecting which resort or park or other area you'd like to view dining for.

I hope that helps as you get ready to make all sorts of advanced dining reservations for delicious and unique meals and experiences, Alicia!

    Bon Appétite!
