I am trying to plan a vacation for my family of 4. We have 2 kids who will be 3 and 1 during the visit. What are the best parks, best places to dine, best place to stay, etc? Anything will be helpful to me!!Thanks

Hi Mia, I have lots of suggestions for your family vacation, assuming a moderate budget.  If you would prefer a deluxe or value hotel, please ask another question to the moms panel and we will answer it more appropriately.

First of all, for really little kids, I like the Port Orleans French Quarter hotel.  It's small and manageable, has a great food court, one bus stop, and a fun kiddie pool.  We stayed there when my kids were a little younger than yours, and I thought it was perfect for our needs, and as a moderate resort, is at a good price point.

Depending upon how many days you plan to stay, I'd suggest that you try to visit all four parks.  My kids prefer the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios, while my husband and I prefer Epcot.  Animal Kingdom is also wonderful, and I find that it can be toured in one day with small children.

You'll probably want to make advanced dining reservations for at least a few character meals.  Our favorites are the Lilo & Stitch breakfast at 'Ohana, lunch at the Crystal Palace with Tigger and friends, Play and Dine at the Hollywood and Vine with Playhouse Disney characters, and Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary.  If you want to do a princess meal, I really like the Akershus dining hall at Epcot.

Have a great time planning your vacation!
