I am trying to plan a trip to WDW for Spring of 2018. I really want to see the Disney Easter Eggs that are on display at this time. When do the Easter eggs go on display and how long are they available to view? The Easter eggs are the reason we are coming.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Malissa!

The holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort have an extra dose of Disney magic that makes them very special. Easter is no exception! With special sightings of characters like Mr. & Mrs. Bunny at Magic Kingdom, Winnie the Pooh’s pal Rabbit, and others. But the pièce de résistance of Easter is without a doubt the magnificent Chocolate Easter Eggs at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

These are not your average colored Easter eggs. These specially crafted works of art are carved and molded by pastry chef teams that take months to perfect them. I had the opportunity to see them in person this past Easter and they are truly breathtaking.

Malissa, historically, the world-famous Chocolate Easter Eggs that are displayed at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa’s lobby will make their appearance in the weeks prior and post Easter Sunday. If I’m not mistaken, this past year, those dates were extended. But your best bet at getting to see them will be to book your visit as close to Easter as possible.

I hope you enjoy the marvelous creations featuring beloved Disney Characters and films crafted and molded into chocolate eggs. I look forward to seeing them again next year if I get the opportunity. Also, be sure to schedule some time to enjoy the beautiful Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival that will be in full bloom during the spring months. You won’t want to miss it!

Thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to visit us again for any additional questions, tips, or advice for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. See you real soon!
