    We are trying to plan a trip to WDW in September. We have a 1yr and 4yr old and are trying to find the best resort for the kids. After lookin at them I can't find one that fits what we are looking for. Can you recomend the best resort for kids?

    David,

    Glad to offer some guidance. First, the resorts were designed with families in mind, so they ALL are great for kids. Based on what you are looking for, some may be better than others. Let me make an initial recommendation for each of the main classes of resorts;

    Deluxe: Wilderness Lodge
    The hotel pool is fun, with hair braiding stations and fake geysers nearby. Everything in the lodge is made to "wow" a kid, from the fun restaurant (Whispering Canyon Cafe) to the stream running through the lobby. The nearby Fort Wilderness area also has lots of outdoor recreational activities.

    Moderate: Caribbean Beach
    The remodeled pool has a kiddie pool section that is ideal for your kids. Physically separated from the main pool, it keeps the older kids from spilling over into their area. Pirate and Nemo themed rooms are also very fun.

    Value: Any of them
    The decor is a "wow" factor for kids of your age.

    I am glad to help you with any follow-up advice, if you want to tell me more specifically what you are looking for in a resort. Just go to my bio page to ask.

    Have a magical vacation!
