Dear Diana,
Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us again here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
August is the time that my family goes frequently to the Walt Disney World Resort, so I hope that I can help you out with some of this! In terms of crowds, August does see some higher crowd levels because it is still the summer, but the more southern school districts are getting back underway at that time so as the month goes on, the crowds tend to decrease. We typically are able to find the
Advanced Dining Reservations and
FastPass+ selections that we would like, without too much trouble at all!
Temperatures are quite warm, I want to be truthful! We typically wear thin, airy clothing layers, take frequent shower and pool breaks, and drink lots of water! Did you know that you can ask for complimentary cups of water at most
Quick-Service restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort? They will be happy to give them to you! We also take advantage of the on-site laundry at our Walt Disney World Resort hotel so that we can have multiple changes of clothes if we want them.
The all-over experience for us is wonderful, and we don't mind the temperatures too much! I think that you will have a magical time with your family!
