We are trying to plan our trip to Disney for next year. We have an autistic adult daughter-so we need to go when the crowd level is low. And the weather is decent. We would like to go the first or second week of Dec 2014. Would that be low crowd?

    Hi Edward,

The first couple of weeks in December used to be an ideal time to go to Walt Disney World. The weather is usually nice, the crowds are low, and the holiday decorations are out. However, more and more people are starting to choose this time of year for vacation. I would say the crowd levels range from low to moderate. The first week of December is probably a better choice than the second week, and weekdays are less crowded than weekends.

Another great time of year is the last week of October into the first week of November. The second and third weeks of September are also ideal, although the temperatures can still be quite warm. The parks are quietest during these times.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
