I am trying to plan a March 2015 WDW trip and have strolled thru many pages on your wonderful site. I need advice picking a resort for 4 adults and one 9 yr old. I really want a suite and would also like a pool with slide. Must have separate sleeping areas

Let's use the process of elimination to find your best fit...

    • The family suites at Art of Animation and All-Star Music provide separate sleeping areas however neither pool area offers a slide...
    • The cabins at Fort Wilderness feature a large pool that includes a slide, and the resort basks in a laid-back atmosphere among the pine trees. For sleeping, the cabins offer a bedroom with a double bed and bunks along with a full kitchen and living area with a Murphy bed. It's not as private as two bedrooms, but for the cost, this option is a solid pick.
    • If cost is not a consideration, you can book one of the suites at the Contemporary but for the money, I'd recommend looking at a two-bedroom villa at either Wilderness Lodge or Beach Club with these locations based on what I think your 9-year-old would enjoy most. Both resorts offer memorable pools with great slides. Wilderness Lodge is a boat ride from Magic Kingdom while Beach Club is a 5-minute stroll to the back gate at Epcot or 20-minute boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Beach Club gets a leg up simply because of its nearby restaurants at the Boardwalk that offer more variety.

     Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
