Hi Moms! I am trying to plan out FP for HS. Toy Story Mania and Fantasmic are both in the same tier, so I cant reserve those 2 on the same day. Correct? How easy is it to get a walk in seat at Fantasmic or should I try to reserve a dinner package.

    Hi Brandi,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

You’re right, you cannot include both Toy Story Midway Mania! and Fantasmic! as part of your FastPass+ selections for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. I was once able to select Fantasmic! as my fourth selection at a FastPass+ Kiosk one day, but that would be very difficult to do on most days.

It’s hard for me to say whether you’ll be able to see Fantasmic! if you don’t include it among your day’s FastPass+ selections. It will depend on several factors, including crowd levels and how often Fantasmic! is playing during the week that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World Resort. Of course, you’re right to point out that a way to ensure that you’ll get a spot for the show for minimal wait is to book a Fantasmic! Dinner Package. If you can secure one of those coveted dining reservations, I definitely recommend it, if only to ensure some “peace of mind” that you’ll be able to attend the show on the night you’ve selected.

I hope this helps you plan your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,
