Hello, trying to plan a first visit for my daughter and I. She is 3 but will turn 4 during our stay, how will that affect my dining plan and parks tickets?

    Hi Stacy!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

What is important is her age on the date you check-in and first go to the parks.  If she will be three when she arrives then she doesn't have to be on the Disney Dining Plan.  She can share your food (or get her own at a buffet) or you can just pay for food out of pocket if need be.  There's no problem having a meal where some guests pay out of pocket while others use Disney Dining Plan meal credits.  Disney will not ask for a birth certificate or other forms of identification to prove her age.

Enjoy planning your magical Disney vacation, and please write back with more questions!
