Great job Angela! I can tell you have made some great plans for your upcoming trip.

Using your first day to just get to know your resort and explore Downtown Disney is a great idea. Traveling is exhausting and it is best to not push that first day and instead hit the sack early so you can be fresh for a full day in the parks on day two.

I have a few things for you to consider as far as the whole plan goes. Your second day looks like you will spend most of it in Hollywood Studios and then end it at Epcot with dinner and Illuminations. There is quite a bit to see and do for a nine year old in Epcot and you might want to return another day to experience this park just a bit more. Consider such attractions as: Soarin, Living with the Land, Mission Space, Test Track (due to be open early December), Energy, Spaceship Earth, movies in China, France, and Canada, American Adventure, and Innoventions.

You have designated day three for Blizzard Beach. This water park is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment during that time although Typhoon Lagoon will be open. Just to note about hitting a water park during the winter months.....it can be cold in Florida! I suggest you don't get there too early when it is still chilly but wait closer to mid day when the sun has been out and had a chance to warm the air. The water parks are full of activities where you are getting in and out of water constantly. If the weather does not cooperate you can replace a water park for mini golf or fishing or horseback riding or a Disney tour.

I would fill your open day with at least finishing Epcot or heading to the Magic Kingdom to start on the attractions there. That way you won't have the pressure to see and do it all on your last day of vacation. This is the park that started the entire experience!
