Hi! Trying to plan my daughter and her friends' senior trip for next year in May 2017. What I am concerned about booking early is if I book 3 rooms for 11 people and 1 of them backs out, how does that work as far as their cancellation policy goes?

    Ahoy Racheal!
I can't think of a better way to celebrate high school graduation than on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his seafaring crew! It will definitely be a magical experience for your princess and her friends that I'm sure they will cherish forever. I think you are smart to be thinking ahead so you can lock down the best rates for your sailing, and the Disney Cruise Line cancellation policy is important to be aware of since you will not be traveling with just your family on this vacation. The good news I have for you is that everyone's reservation is separate. As long as it is canceled before the final payment is due, (75 days for 2-5 night cruises and 90 days for 6-9 night cruises) no fees will be lost. The cruise fare for the other Guests will remain the same as when the cruise was originally booked. The only money that has the risk of being lost is if the canceling Guest cancels after final payment is due. My advice is to secure your reservation now, and let your daughter's friends know the timeline for their individual payment. With over a year to go, hopefully they will be able to save up for this trip of a lifetime to celebrate this momentous occasion together!
Thank you for stopping by with your question, Racheal! I hope you will let us know if you think of anything else while you plan. We are always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
