I have been trying for months to make dining reservations but still not happening. I have heard they might open up more 2 weeks before your trip. Is this usually true? We are going 10-18 thru 22 and staying onsite.

Hi, Cindy! Don't give up hope! I have usually have very good luck in the days right before we want to dine. So, I would be especially vigilant in the days right before your trip. As Guests' plans change, so do their dining reservations. You never know when an opening might occur. Since most dining experiences are pre-paid or have a credit card guarantee, there are often openings in the day or two before the day you want to dine. A cancellation policy applies and will result in charges if the Guest cancels with insufficient notice. If Guests' plans change, there will be cancellations to avoid paying for a meal they aren't attending. If you're staying onsite and still needing reservations when you arrive, seek help from the Guest Services at your Resort. They will help you check for openings. Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
