Hi! Trying to do an itinerary for sept17th-21st stay @ CSR. So far, we have ADR @ Chef Mickeys on Tues morning. We have 5d park hopper. Can you help me with an itinerary. Definately want to see all parks and Epcot Illuminations. Have Dining Plus too! Thanx

    Hi Nicki!
Here's the thing with an itinerary: it depends on what your family does & likes. Some of the Moms on the panel are planners with spreadsheets & statistics. I fall more in the scribble it on a piece of paper with a marker.

If your family has been to Disney before you'll be able to do a better daily itinerary. You can have everyone pick 2 of their favorite attractions & make sure you see those 1st. You can look at the map & see which order to do it in, which Fast Pass to grab first, etc.

If you haven't been to Disney before, a daily itinerary is a little harder b/c you might be walking to get to a ride someone suggested & then see something else you want to do or explore. That's really the best part of Disney to me--the experience!

(Also, if you google "sample Disney World itinerary" you can find lots of different ideas based on party size, etc.)

As far as which parks to do on each day, there are several ways to choose:

-You can visit touringplans.com & check out their recommendations for park crowds. They forecast based on history which will be the best park to visit & which to avoid.
-Decide based on special events, dining reservations or opening/closing times. (For example, I'd go to Magic Kingdom on Tuesday after your Chef Mickey's breakfast. You can hop on the monorail & be there quickly!)
-Hit 1 park per day & then use your park hopper to go to fireworks at another park when your 1st park closes. Then use your final park ticket to hop to your favorite (or missed) attractions!

Bottom line: your trip will be magical! It's hard to mess up a trip to Disney World, in my opinion! But it is helpful to be ready and knowledgeable before you walk into the park. Sounds to me like you've got a good start!

If you have a really specific question about any aspect of planning, please ask another question! We'd love to help!
