I am trying to help a friend plan a trip to Disney. In your opinion with a 9,7,6 years old would you do Cinderella Castle at dinner or do you think the kids would like Hoop Dee Doo better? I say Hoop Dee Doo. What do you think?

In general, I tend to agree with you. I would go with the Hoop Dee Doo, but there are a few factors to consider:

    - What are the genders of the kids? If there are boys in your group (particularly if the oldest is the boy), then Cinderella's Royal Table is less likely to be a hit.
    - Have the kids already been to many character meals? The Fairy Godmother is the only character at the Cinderella Royal Table dinner. (The princesses are at breakfast and lunch.) If the kids would be expecting to see many characters, then they will be disappointed with the CRT dinner.
    - What are the food preferences of the group? The food at the HDDR is picnic classics such as cornbread, ribs, fried chicken, salad, and strawberry shortcake. The menu for the CRT dinner can be found on the website
    - Where are you staying? The HDDR can take a while to get to from some of the resorts. How will this factor into your day?
    - Does one of the children (or adults) have their heart set on dining in the castle?

These are just some things to think about. All things being equal, I'd choose the Hoop Dee Doo.
