Trying to find a slower time to go in 2016. I was thinking the end of January . Do you have any ideas on slower times? I am a Stage 4 breast cancer patients and cannot handle the crowds and such. Thanks

    Hello, Kim,

I think the end of January is a great time to visit Walt Disney World to avoid crowds, specifically if you visit after Martin Luther King, Jr., Day on January 18, 2016.  Those last days in January should have lighter crowds, especially during the week.  You may find that the weekends have a bit higher attendance, however.

January is also a lovely time to visit as the temperatures are more mild, and you can usually find better deals on Disney resorts, too. You may even be able to find some Special Offers as the date grows closer.

As you continue to plan your trip, please let us know how we can help.  I'm also thinking of you and sending you many, many get well wishes and lots of virtual pixie dust!  Wishing you a magical trip!  -Kara
