Hello trying to find out what exactly is the Disney dining plan and cost. Thanks.

    Hi Dave,

The Disney Dining Plans are available to guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort when you purchase a Magic Your Way Package.  There are several different Plans available that suit every budget and dining preference.  The Disney Dining Plan is a way for guests to pre-pay for dining credits and potentially save some money too.

The Disney Dining Plan is the most popular option and it offers guests one Table-Service Meal, one Quick-Service Meal and one Snack per night of your stay.  This option offers the best of both worlds in terms of dining at Walt Disney World Resort.  Families are able to spend some time together enjoying a sit-down meal every day, as well as pick up a meal on the go while enjoying the Theme Parks.  As always, prices are subject to change, however, the Disney Dining Plan currently costs approximately $55.00 a night per adult (10 and older), while children (9 and under) are approximately $17.00 per night.  Prices may increase slightly during peak seasons as well.

Other packages include the Quick-Service Dining Plan which offers guests 2 Quick-Service Meals and one Snack per night.  The Deluxe Dining Plan offers guests 3 Table-Service Meals and 2 Snacks per night.  My family and I frequently choose the Deluxe Dining Plan because we enjoy many of Disney's Signature Dining Locations, as well as the Dinner Shows, which require 2 Table-Service Credits.

I hope my answer helped Dave.  Please let me know if you have any other questions concerning the Disney Dining Plan, or anything else you come across while planning.  I would be happy to help!
