Disney's Magical Express transportation

I am trying to figure out if making a reservation for dinner on the night we arrive at Disney World would be possible. About how long is the trip from the Orlando airport to All-Star movies resort using the magical express? I know it can vary with traffic.

Hello Brian!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Using Disney's Magical Express is an efficient way to start your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  If you take advantage of the complimentary luggage delivery using the luggage tags mailed to you 2 to 3 weeks before your vacation and go directly to Disney's Magical Express located on Side B, Level 1 at Orlando International Airport upon disembarking, you'll be at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort in no time.

The ride itself takes roughly 30 minutes, but depending on the loading and unloading of passengers, and the number of stops before your motorcoach reaches Disney's All-Star Movies Resort (multiple resorts may be loaded onto 1 motorcoach), it's safe to say that the average time for a trip is between 50-60 minutes.

To save additional time, take care of most of the check-in process by using the Online Check-in Service up to 60 days in advance and head to the Online Check-In Desk at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.

If you choose a dining location at your own resort (although Disney All-Star Movies Resort does not have a Table Service option), 1 of the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks or Disney Springs or take a taxi directly to another Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you should be able to comfortably make an Advanced Dining Reservation booked 3 hours after your arrival at Orlando International Airport.

Of course, this is assuming that everything is on schedule the day of your flight.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
