I am trying to figure out which character meal would best suit my family with three boys age 10, 8 and 4. Obviously the Princess meals are out for us! I was thinking of Ohana? I'm sure my little one would love the one at Hollywood & Vine?

    Hi Dawn,

Our family does not spend a lot of time with the Princesses either-three boys here too. Yes, if your youngest enjoys Playhouse Disney he will probably love the dining adventure at Hollywood and Vine. This may not be the best choice for the older two however. I turned to my experts for their advice. This is what my family thought your boys might enjoy:
    • Chef Mickey's at Contemporary Resort. This is one of the most popular character dining experiences which features Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy and either Chip or Donald. The boys love that they can also watch the monorail come in and out of the hotel while they eat.
    • 'Ohana at Polynesian Resort offers a character experience for breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto and Mulan. The boys love the antics of Lilo and Stitch and the food is delicious.
    • Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. This character breakfast features Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. The boys love the rustic African village feel to the restaraunt and during the meal you may even have a chance to join in for a jammin music parade.
    • Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom offers a character meal with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet for breakfast and lunch. My kids have always loved the lovable Pooh and his friends, especially that wacky Tigger. Out of all of the character meal choices, this is their favorite character meal based on the food.

Characters are always subject to change and remember dining reservations can be made up to ninety days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or 407-939-3463. Hope your boys find one of these suggestions as one of their favorites too. Have a great time!
