I am trying to figure out the best dates in april for a visit I was thinking 4/9/14 to 4/13/14 are these days expected to be overly crowded? Thanks so much

Hi Whitney! You've asked the million dollar question...when is it not busy at the happiest place in the world? Year round Walt Disney World remains a popular destination for thousands of families looking to make magical memories. So much of that traffic is determined by when our children are off from school. And yes, April is high season because that's when the majority of school systems across the nation have Spring Break. And don't forget Easter is celebrated in April too.

I've visited with my family at the beginning and second week in April during our Spring Break and we did just fine despite crowds - the key is planning! Start by mapping out your visit based on your length of stay. With just a few days maybe you want to visit just 2 of the Walt Disney World theme parks and use a FastPass for your must see and do attractions. You can also spend a day enjoying the amenities and activities at your Walt Disney World Resort. Depending on the ages of your children you can head to the theme parks during off peak hours and take advantage of extra magic hours in the different parks.

Because it's Walt Disney World you have endless possibilities to make your vacation memorable and magical...and we're always here to help!
