Mom And Daughter Resort Room

I am trying to decie what type of stroller to bring for my 22 month old daughter(full size or umbrella). We will be taking the buses from a WDW resort to the parks. Do the buses hae a place (like under the bus) to put a folded full size stroller?

There is storage space under the Magical Express buses that can take you from the airport to your WDW hotel. You could place a stroller in the under compartment there.

But for the regular Disney motor coaches that bring you from the resorts to the theme parks, there is not any under-bus place to put a stroller. All strollers must be folded, walked up 2 or 3 stairs, and then managed on the bus. The aisles are quite wide, with seating only in rows along the walls of the bus, so there is room to hold a stroller there. I would bring the type of stroller that you and your daughter feel most comfortable with, particularly if you feel she might nap in the stroller.

I will say that no matter what you choose, it will be a bit of a balancing act getting any stroller on and off the buses. I myself have brought everything from tiny umbrella strollers to full-sized double strollers onto the Disney buses. That minute of loading is always tough, no matter what you bring, so you might as well bring what works best for the rest of your trip. Even with the challenge of getting a stroller onto the bus, with small kids I feel like bringing a stroller from home is a far superior choice to just renting at the parks. You will need your stroller at so many places other than just the theme parks, it really pays to have one from home.
