Trying decide whether to stay on the resort or just rent a nice house for our complete family of 12. I know the transportation would be easier on one of the resorts? Anybody else tried both ways or have an opinion?

    Hello Rebecca!

I always recommend staying onsite at the Walt Disney World Resort if at all possible.  It definitely feels like you are more a part of the magic when you are immersed in the onsite travel experience.  In addition to ease of transportation, there are many additional benefits, including Extra Magic Hours.  Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels are allowed admission to certain parks on different days before scheduled park opening and closing times.  Your theme park ticket and resort ID is all you would need. As an onsite guest, you can also choose free airport transportation via Disney's Magical Express.  You have some options for accommodations depending on your preferences.  You could choose to sleep in 2 different Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, for example, where up to 6 guests can be accommodated in each room.  That's just one possibility.  Call (407) 939-7725 for more options and suggestions.

Have fun planning your special vacation and let me know if I can help answer any additional questions. Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
