Trying to decide between a studio room at Boardwalk Villas and standard room at Animal Kingdom Lodge for my husband, 8 year old son, and myself. Which is better suited for all of us? Any recommendations re: bunk beds versus standard room if we choose AKL?

Hi Kristen! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You must be so excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You've got a tough decision...and it's literally a world of difference. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is an amazing and culturally exhilarating experience unlike anything else at Walt Disney World Resort. On the other hand, I love Disney's BoardWalk Villas, it's the perfect mix of upscale elegance, charm and comfort...and it's just a short stroll to Epcot.

With appearances from zebras, giraffes, elks, gazelles, antelopes, kudus, wildebeest's and exotic birds Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge gives you a passport for excitement. The "pool-view" bunk bed standard room comfortably sleeps up to four so you'll have plenty of room and if your son is anything like my kids he'll love the bunk bed!

At Disney's BoardWalk Villas you'll have a queen size bed and pullout couch in the studio villa with ample room for your party size. From the iconic boardwalk with great shopping, delicious food and evening entertainment, you'll be right in the heart of the action. And when you want to take a quick trip around the world just head over to Epcot.

Whatever you choose, I wish you a magical and memorable Disney vacation!
