We are trying to decide between staying at the Beach Club resort or the villas. We are a family of 4 and the children are under 10. I like the idea of the villa, but is it a problem getting to the pools, restaurants, etc.? Thanks so much for any input.

    Lisa,

Hello fellow Rhode Islander!  The Beach Club is my favorite resort.  The location is perfect, my kids love the pool, Cape May Cafe is one of our favorite character breakfasts, and the resort activities are great -- you can even watch movies under the stars in the evening.

We have stayed at a villa before.  There's a little more walking involved with getting to the pools, but it's not overwhelming.  There is also a quiet pool right outside the villa area if you're just looking for a place to take a quick dip with the kiddos.

There are hallways that lead to the main building; however, take a look at your resort map when you arrive.  Often the quickest way to get from point A to point B is by going outside the building.  We found this to be true with the bus stop for Magic Kingdom.  For the first couple days, we traveled through the hallway to the lobby -- then we realized that the door at the end of our hall was only a couple hundred feet from the bus stop.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
